We see so many Porsche SUVs these days that it’s easy to forget that Porsche is making some of the world’s best sports cars out there. For over 40 years, Porsche has been producing the world’s most usable, fastest and driver focused cars out there.
What makes Porsche stand out for us is that it seems like Porsche wouldn’t compromise on anything- everything is done in their Germanic way- small adjustments, tiny changes, minor updates that makes the package completely perfect for its purpose.
Take the 911. The overall shape and layout hasn’t changed for years, but it is one sports cars that you can drive daily and when you want to fool around- will give you everything you want and can possibly handle. It is user friendly and desirable at the same time.
Porsche’s attention to details and clever thinking has made it one of the most profitable car makers and pushed it to want more- and the era of the SUVs began. How we laughed at them for making the ugly first gen. Cayenne- but it is now a very good SUV for everything. And it handles like a sports car.
Today, with the sought after Macan and Panamera and all the versions of the 911, Boxster and Cayenne, Porsche is becoming bigger and more successful than ever and yet manages to still be focused and the epitome of German sports car making.
