Jaguar is on a roll toady- together with exciting new products like the F Type and XJR, the company is about to release two of its most important models in the nest year- XE and the new XF.
Ever since its birth, Jaguar has always been the British alternative to the German luxury- emphasizing on handling, design and ultimate prestige. However, under the ownership of Ford, Jaguar has stumbled- too many weak models and an older look. The current owner, Tata, is investing a lot to get rid of that image.
Today, and ever since the last ten XF, Jaguar is coming alive- younger models, modern design and a lot of noise. It’s showing the German brands that the quite Brits can put up a fight.
Though a long way from the German top 3, Jaguar is battling them where it counts- the XE should make the 3-series cry and the XF should steal clients from the E-Class. Jaguar may be small, but it’s making waves in the industry and people notice them more and more every day.
In the coming years, Jaguar will enter the most profitable segment- the luxury SUV with the F-Pace. It’s not going to be easy as it is a crowded segment, but we are sure that with the help of sister company Land Rover, and Jaguar new design and technology, they can make it work.
